Hello, My name is Paul Joseph Salcedo. I was born in January of
1945 in the City of Los Angeles. I entered the Marines in 1962 and
served three tours in Vietnam as a Sergeant until I was wounded
in 1968.  I was a Police Officer, attended California State University
at Los Angeles and received my Juris Doctorate from Glendale University
of Law. As a Police Officer I had experienced many aspects of criminal
law and applied my experiences to my duties as a Deputy District
Attorney for the Imperial County, Office of the District Attorney,
prosecuting cases that ranged from murder to white collar crimes.
As my life went on I concentrated my experience in the field of
Workers Compensation Civil Litigation representing insurers and
well as uninsured employers. As time progressed, and my practice
had become more involved and concentrated in the practice of defending
employers for various nonconformities of the California Labor Code.
I am a litigator, a trial lawyer, a husband, a father, an active
member of my community and church. But because I have taken on numerous
roles during my life there has always been time to focus on the
wrong and right of circumstances. As an attorney I have fought hard
to making circumstances equal or beneficial to my clients.
As my practice has evolved in a more specific role of defending
employers, I have much more enjoyed my career and almost view my
role as a mentor with an expertise in a hobby. The legal process
is by nature, and always will be, a very intimidating process for
clients. As an attorney it is my objective to and goal to relieve
you of the legal pressures, threats, and educate my client in the
legal process. Again, I am Paul Joseph Salcedo, a licensed practicing
attorney in the State of California.
